Compact, versatile breathing apparatus September 1st 2006 The new lightweight Draeger Personal Airline System (PAS) is ergonomically designed to follow the natural contours of the back and improve wearer comfort. Micro is ideal for use in applications requiring either a short duration entry unit, airline emergency escape breathing apparatus, or dual function unit.
Featuring a back-mounted design which provides improved stability in use, the versatile unit is approved to EN137 (short duration entry units) and EN402 (airline emergency escape). It is easy to use and has been specifically designed to ensure maximum flexibility.
For example, when worn as a short duration entry unit, the pressure gauge can be mounted at the waist to provide an immediate visual update of remaining air supply. Alternatively, when used independently or in conjunction with Draeger's PAS AirPack 1 or 2 airline systems, the gauge is integrated into the cylinder valve to allow for easy periodical inspection.
Suitable for use in extreme conditions and easy and quick to put on, the lightweight harness has been specially designed to retain its form in a wide range of temperatures.
It uses an anti-static material that is inert to chemicals and oil, and impervious to most acids and alkalis, it also has a high resistance to abrasion and meets the requirements of EN137 heat and flame resistance.
It provides stable and quiet operation with first breath activation, the Plus Lung Demand Valve has a centrally located switch-off button and a tough wrap-around silicone cover. More articles from Draeger Safety UK Limited: |
