Safety, style and comfort enhanced in new boot November 1st 2005 The ergonomic design of the new Purofort+ boot from Dunlop Hevea is said to deliver increased safety, while providing exceptional comfort and style.
The thickness of the polyurethane material on several parts of the boot has been increased, improving the abrasionresistance of the outsole and the tear resistance of the upper. Another advantage is that the metatarsal area and heel part of the boot are said to offer better impact resistance.
An anatomically shaped foot bed and other dimensional changes ensure that the boot's shape fits the ergonomic requirements of the human leg. Space in the toe area has been increased, along with the size range (3 to 14).
Improvements to the outsole include better grip, slip-resistance, shock absorbance, thermal insulation and torsion control, while the insole is abrasion resistant for durability, and has improved moisture absorption for comfort. |
