Initially designed for a customer who required more extensive back of the hand protection while handling razor wire, Bennett Safetywear's new Needlestop 1866 provides protection with no loss of dexterity.

Not only has the glove been tested to EN388, it has performed well in more rigorous tests involving a variety of different sized hypodermic needles.

The company now plans to develop a range of needle-resistant clothing for applications such as refuse collection and other hospital and domestic waste handling.
