Explosive hazards and a lack or surplus of oxygen can be kept under control with the new PacEx2 from Draeger Safety UK. Combining extended operation with minimal training and charging time requirements, the handheld monitor incorporates Draegers long life sensors to increase cost benefits. Developed for oil and gas refineries, mining, shipping, utilities and waste disposal applications, the instrument can also be used for the certification of safe work areas. For maximum flexibility, it is offered in two versions: as an instrument for explosive gas measurement; or as a plug-and-play unit for explosive gas and oxygen measurement.
