Tough & tiny
March 1st 2007

Crowcon has introduced two new versions of Eikon, its disposable, single-gas detector that measures less than 70mm long.

New versions detect ammonia and chlorine and are guaranteed to operate without the need for parts or maintenance for two years. No specialist training is required and they are suitable for temporary use by site visitors, on-site contractors or during maintenance shutdowns.

Sealed to IP65, Eikon warns of gas hazards with a 94dBA alarm and four high intensity LEDs, visible from all angles.

The Eikon range now detects five hazardous gases.
