Removes dust
July 1st 2007

Five Carter-Midac AS820 Autosludge wet dust collectors from Carter Environmental Engineers have been installed at West London Waste's household refuse facility in Brentford.

Ensuring clean working conditions for operatives and refuse vehicle drivers, they replace five CEE dust collectors which had been in operation since 1977.

The new units remove airborne dust from 10 tipping bays.

Specialist components and control equipment are not required, ensuring minimum maintenance.

Autosludge units have selfinduced spray zone and come in sizes covering air capacities from 13 000 to 100 000m3/h, offering high collection efficiency and low emission levels. Water levels are automatically regulated by electronic controls, ensuring minimum water consumption.
