Air fed respirator
July 1st 2010

Norwegian oil giant Statoil has selected the new Pureflo PF31 ABS (Airline Breathing System) helmet respirator, manufactured by Helmet Integrated Systems (HISL). The units will be used for a wide range of maintenance duties and were chosen for their lightweight, operatorfriendly design.

The PF31 ABS combines a hard hat, face shield and compressed air respiratory protection in one convenient helmet mounted unit with each element carrying Type Approvals to the latest European Standards. Safety is further enhanced by the use of double acting, quick release compressed air connections.

Accessories include welding visors, radiant heat kits and fire retardant neck capes.
