Safety in the warehouse September 1st 2007 The Klime-Eze range of mobile
safety steps and bespoke ladder
systems, available from
ladderstore.com, represent
affordable and safe solutions to
working at height in warehouses
and storage facilities.
With the 'No Access' safety
braking system, first invented by
Klime-Eze around twelve years ago,
the steps are immobilised by a
central fail-safe retractor
mechanism which when operated
performs the dual function of acting
as a braking system and at the
same time forming a NO ACCESS
barrier across the steps, protecting
the safety and welfare of the
operative. The range also includes
other safety features such as allround
pulpit rails and punched
metal or anti-slip PVC treads.
For heavy-use applications the
Industrial, with a 500mm tread width
and Extra-Wide at 700mm tread
width are ideal for maintenance
crews or large item order picking.
Areas of restricted access are
best met by the Knock-
Down models, they have a
500mm tread width and
can be assembled onsite.
While the Light
Weight, Narrow Aisle
and Step-Over models
are ideal for offices,
shops and smaller
storage facilities.
Platform
heights are
available from 0.5
to 3.75m giving a
safe working
height of
approximately
1.5m to 4.75m. More articles from Wardworth Ltd T/A Ladderstore.com: |
