High level scaffold tower
September 1st 2007

Maintenance industries are now using industrial scaffold towers for jobs that require long working periods at low or intermediate heights. In order to meet requirements of the new working at height legislation, Zarges has manufactured an industrial scaffold tower which is mobile and can be folded. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the tower is versatile, folding easily for transport or storage. This makes it suitable for those who need to move their equipment between rooms or sites.

The castors, which allow it to be moved with ease, are braked for safety. A double width unit can increase the standard platform width of 0.75m to 1.35m and the platform height of 1m can be increased to 1.55m by adding on a further guardrail unit.

At any time additional modules may be purchased to provide up to a 12m maximum platform height.

This industrial folding scaffold tower system is made to EN1004 Class 3, 200 kg/m2 standards.

"For maintenance and cleaning, users usually need to carry with them their equipment and tools," says Alistair Twigg of Zarges UK.

"In order to work safely therefore, they need space to operate and room to move without jeopardising their stability and safety. That's why the scaffold tower can provide the solution.

You can have stability, room to carry out the task with equipment easily available. Then when you've finished working in one location, you simply un-brake the wheels and move the tower to the next position."
