Waste and costs cut November 1st 2005 Loadhog is helping to reduce waste and cut costs for the NHS Logistics Authority. A 10 week trial of Loadhog lids at one of its distribution centres produced such environmental, cost and efficiency savings that its widespread use is now being investigated.
The fully recyclable lid can be double or triple stacked and secures a level load to any standard wooden or plastic pallet without the use of plastic film or strapping.
Time taken to secure the load is reduced by up to 80% and the system is said to be safer and easier to use than conventional wrap-andstrap systems. Retractable straps enable an operator to secure a load in seconds without bending or risking strapping cuts. More articles from Loadhog Ltd: |
