Sweet role
May 1st 2008 Sugar refiner, Ragus, has taken
delivery of 200 Craemer CR3-5
heavy duty plastic pallets.
The company decided to upgrade
its stock of plastic pallets which
were used to carry 1000kg bulk
bags of cane sugar as they had
deteriorated to a point that raised
questions of possible product
contamination and safety issues.
Asked to tender, Steve Penney,
Craemer sales manager proposed
the use of the red-brown, heavy
duty CR3-5 all-plastics perimeter
pallet with anti-slip topdeck for
increased load safety. Due to the
strength of its one-piece injection
moulded structure and its five
runners, the pallet (1200 by
1000mm) provides high stability
and load bearing capability of
1000kg in a racking system.
The one-piece design is said to
eliminate any possible
