Racking role

Linpac Storage Systems has designed, manufactured and installed pallet racking for an automated storage and wide aisle system in a healthcare company’s Northampton warehouse.

Linpac designed three pallet wide bays for both the automated and wide aisle racking. The bays accommodate product on Euro pallets. the automated facility stores fast moving products. There are four levels of double-deep racking rising to 10m high that are accessed using a Swisslog crane.

Slower moving products are in the wide aisle racking system that stores 3600 pallets on five levels.

There is a total of 240 bays of stock that is retrieved by reach truck.
