A new online sourcing and quotation service for purchasers of packaging and material handling equipment is to be launched this April.

The range of products available to search include caterstote bins, food crates, pallets, roll cages, distribution boxes, IBCs, cartons and liquid liners.

PackagingSearch.com's system features a new enquiry process, automatically submitting each query to at least 3 suppliers, and providing the user with up to three competitive quotations, with a guarantee of no added mark-up.

Subscribers to the service have unlimited use and it is estimated users may save between 8 and 12 working hours per enquiry.

Managing Director, Gideon Hillman, says "We are definitely not a search engine in the traditional term.

"We provide a service by sourcing and offering quotes directly from our supplier base, as opposed to websites that just provide contact details and a web link."
