Speedy packaging

Sigpack Systems, a Bosch Packaging Technology company, and Burgopak have, together, developed a packaging line suitable for a multitude of packaging formats. Applications include pharmaceutical, luxury and consumer goods.

Burgopak packaging design uses an operating system that presents the product in a sliding tray. The packaging is simple to handle and is said to be especially suitable for pills and capsules in blister packs, although the style has been used to package many electronic articles.

When the company decided to automate production, Sigpack Systems was asked to design and construct a machine for high speed production of Burgopak packaging.

The integrated system supplied ensures high production efficiency by using new core technologies in product handling, feeding systems and carton forming. automation of production has enabled Burgopak to provide packaging for a much broader range of products at lower cost.
