Hand strapping
September 1st 2007 A new hand strapping tool, suitable
for medium and heavy duty
applications, is now available from
Cyklop UK. The CMT200 can
accommodate polypropylene (PP)
and polyethylene (PET) strap of
between 12mm and 16mm, with
tensioning of up to 2000N
achievable.
The CMT200 is a lightweight yet
robust unit, weighing 4.2kg
including battery, which has been
ergonomically designed for singlehanded
operation. It comes with a
rechargeable battery which can
complete up to 200 strapping
cycles per charge. All controls are
via simple touch pad operation,
including the strap welding time,
