Stretch wrapper from Slovenia

Silo manufacturer Braby is UK distributor for Slovenian stretch wrapper and pallet wrapping machine manufacturer, Epipack.

Four main products are offered: Vilis, a manual machine; ProtoWraptor, a semi-automatic machine; SpinoWraptor, a superior semi-automatic or automatic machine; and VelociWraptor, an automatic machine that wraps using a rotating arm rather than rotating the pallet.

All models are said to be easy to use and are made with high quality components from companies such as Allen Bradley, Telemecanique and Hitachi. Due to Slovenia’s lower manufacturing costs, they are said to be 15 to 20% cheaper than competitive products.

Units are PLC controlled and will integrate into the factory-based system, including AGVs at the picking and packing stage. At the top end, the VelociWraptor can handle high throughput requirements, such as 50 pallets/h.

Extras such as a ‘Sting’ accessory provide a fully automated solution with automatic binding, cutting heat and seal device.
