Ready for gs1

The latest version of Claricom's CLARiSOFT software for Package Coding Management includes a number of enhancements, including compatibility with the GS1 DataBar barcode.

GS1 DataBar has been endorsed by GS1 for global, unrestricted trade item identification from January 2010.

James Butcher, MD of Claricom, says "GS1 DataBar is fast becoming an invaluable tool to the global supply chain, so our decision to make CLARiSOFT ready now reflects the format's growing popularity in addition to future-proofing the software in readiness for 2010."

Other enhancements to Version 4.314 include compatibility with the latest Imaje 9000 series inkjet printers and with Avery Weightronix machines, support for the latest GS1 standards for 2D DataMatrix barcodes.
