On-site engineer November 1st 2004 BT Rolatruc expects to supply more than 400 powered trucks and 1000 hand pallet trucks to Grampian Country Food Group as part of a five-year rental contract that includes full service support.
One of GCFG’s key operations in the UK is at Haverhill, Suffolk, where the site is large enough, with 70 trucks, to have a resident BT engineer to take care of all servicing and maintenance.
The site is to receive equipment from the Orion powered pallet, Cargo counterbalance, Reflex reach and Ixion stacker truck ranges.
The company has also been introduced to BT’s Pro Lifter hand pallet truck that takes the effort out of getting a load moving. It is said to reduce the force required by up to 67%. The tiller arm can be used to pump the truck forward or back with a mechanism that connects with the steered wheels. More articles from Toyota Material Handling (UK) Ltd: |
