Doorco has completed the installation of 14 complete loading bays at ARLA Foods chilled distribution centre in Wythenshawe. Each loading bay was individually designed to suit the particular dock requirement and included insulated sectional overhead doors, electro hydraulic dock levellers and dock seals. All the equipment was fitted with safety features, which included a traffic light and vehicle presence detection system, as well as food safe, wipe clean surfaces to comply with hygiene requirements.

For food and refrigerated facilities, the company offers a range of crash doors, insulated sectional and shutter doors and a wide range of high-speed roller doors.

The high-speed Polara roller door, for example, is designed to operate at -30°C and the Speedroller Food version is manufactured for use in food production areas.
