Equipment for loading bays
September 1st 2004

Corby Chilled Distribution has opted for a range of loading bay equipment from Easilift Loading Systems for its new distribution centre at Newark, Nottinghamshire.

Powerdoor electrically operated, fully insulated, sectional overhead doors, measuring 2.5m wide by 3m high, were incorporated in each of the depot’s 10 loading bays.

Designed to cater for the largest of vehicles, they each contain two double glazed vision panels.

Easilift 403 collapsible frame dock shelters completely seal vehicles during loading and unloading.

The loading bays were also fitted with Poweramp 232 dock levellers, an hydraulic model that has a swing/hinged type lip and one bay has an Easilift scissor lift with a maximum load capacity of 3000kg.

Each bay has individual control panels to operate the doors and a set of traffic lights to boost safety.
