Scissor lift
May 1st 2008 Wincanton has installed a Laweco
scissor lift vehicle loading platform
at the NDC it runs near Tamworth
for a DIY chain.
A dedicated warehouse was
built at the site to store flammable
goods. The presence of paints,
aerosols, solvents and gases
required compliance with DSEAR
2002, and the risk from flammable
gases, mists or vapours required
certification to ATEX Zone 2.
Laweco designed and installed a
5000kg scissor lift loading platform
that enables Wincanton to comply
with Work at Height Regulations
