A 1000kg Stannah Goodsmaster lift has been installed for Dairy Crest in its Frome cheese products packaging centre.

The goods-only lift carries packaging materials from a newlyextended first floor storage area to the production floor below, without the need for manual handling or carrying goods via a stairway.

Stannah says that installing the lift has improved the flow of raw materials and reduced health and safety risks within the plant.
