Cheese packaging gets a lift
March 1st 2008

A 1000kg Stannah Goodsmaster lift has been installed for Dairy Crest at its Frome cheese products packaging centre.

The goods-only lift carries packaging materials from a newly extended first floor storage area to the production floor below, without the need for manual handling or carrying goods via a stairway.

Installing the lift has improved the flow of raw materials and reduced health and safety risks within the plant.
