Tows up to 7t January 1st 2008 Niftylift has bought a tow tractor
from Bradshaw Electric Vehicles
to transport parts from its stores to
its production area on public
roads. The vehicle was customised
in 'Nifty green'.
Niftylift opened its new stores in
April last year and was faced with
the problem of transporting
materials in kit form from there to
the assembly area. The company
looked at various options,
including a van and a milk float,
but believed an electric tow tractor
and trailer to be the most
economical option.
The tractor is used all day and
charged overnight. Niftylift opted
for the T6 model, capable of
towing up to 7t. The T6 AC was
upgraded in 2007. It has
automotive style controls and an AC
drive system which is said to give
lower service costs More articles from Bradshaw Electric Vehicles: |
