Solutions, the systems are suitable
for items such as high value and
sensitive aviation and aerospace
components. Use of biometric
access controls, based on
fingerprint scanning, is an
important advance. As well as
eliminating the risk of swipe cards
and passwords being passed to or
obtained by unauthorised users,
the system enables management
to install unique, personalised
access programmes for each user.
Operatives can be given or denied
access to any selected function.
Integrated with the software, a
screen image of the item in
question (either a photo or
engineering drawing) can be
displayed to help users locate and
verify the part quickly and reduce
still further the possibility of error.
Tray speeds to 2.3m/sec provide
rapid parts selection. Speeds can
be reduced to almost zero for
