Side labeller

Weber Marking Systems has devised an effective labelling solution for shrink-wrapped packs of Pete & Johnny’s PJ Smoothies delivered to a leading retailer.

The solution was to label the side of the packs, using Weber’s 5200 series printer applicator.

Labels are printed and transferred to the applicator arm that places the label on demand on the side of the pack.

While the new system uses Weber’s latest technology and software, the company was able to incorporate Pete & Johnny’s existing print engine in order to ensure a cost effective solution.

The success of this installation has led to a second order for a complete 5200 print and apply system.
