RFID-enabled component sortation

Drkopp Frdertechnik has launched an RFID-enabled system for handling suspended small parts and components, including automotive components.

The Pick Rotor System provides automated storage, conveying and sortation of items weighing up to 10kg, at up to 6000 items per hour. Each item has its own adapter with an RFID tag and barcode if required to provide complete product track and trace, for accurate selection and sortation.
