A new generation of label printers from Sato UK are said to be fast, intelligent and easy to maintain.

The GT400e Series comprises heavy duty machines that can withstand daily use in busy industrial and commercial environments. New software means they can be integrated easily into computer systems and can be used to replace other makes and types of printer without the need for extensive reprogramming.

The company says the range sets new standards in processing speeds and in print speeds too.

There are three basic models for direct thermal/thermal transfer printing at 203dpi (GT408e), 305dpi (GT412e) and 609dpi (GT424e).

The GT408e and GT412e print at up to 300mm/sec.

Operation has been made easy through the use of large LCDs, while easy maintenance features include print heads that can be replaced easily without tools.
