WMS upgrade
January 1st 2008 Sandpiper is providing a
replacement management system
for Lanxess' UK warehouse
operation. The Click2 solution
mirrors the existing functionality of
the legacy WMS but has
enhancements to streamline and
optimise information update tasks.
It comprises Cisco wireless
infrastructure connecting dedicated
fork lift truck-mounted Datalogic
Rhino computers to the Click2
system.
Lanxess is using Sandpiper's
FocusID managed per-user based,
inclusive service rental option
which helps companies expedite
procurement of autoID solutions by
simplifying project implementation
