Web based remote monitoring
March 1st 2006

Applied Weighing has added a compact and easy-to-use telemetry system to its range of tank and vessel weighing systems. Teleonix provides central monitoring for weighing systems or any other kind of measuring device at an unlimited number of remote locations. Webbased, the system can be used for example to monitor stock levels in silos or view the alarm status of equipment such as pumps or even rising acidity levels.

Offering improved logistics management, Teleonix paves the way for effective co-operation between customers and suppliers of raw materials. Suppliers with access to the internet can view stock levels at sites across the UK or abroad, and use the information to plan tanker journeys more effectively. Early notification of unexpected fluctuations in demand and prompt action ensures 'out of stock' situations do not occur.

The Teleonix system can be retrofitted to most existing weighing and measuring or level detecting systems. It uses GPRS to transfer its data and does not require a PC connection at the remote site.
