An increase in the number of companies contacting Kwik-Fit Fleet for vehicle tyre safety checks contributed to a 31% year-on-year increase in the company's mobile business last year.

With occupational road risk management at the top of fleets' agendas in 2007, the company expects to see more organisations turning to Kwik-Fit Mobile for regular tyre safety checks on vehicles in company car parks.

Norwich and Peterborough Building Society uses the system.

Pat Turner, general manager, human resources, says "We're very happy to offer our staff tyre health checks. It's a great service, which is easy to operate. Kwik Fit carries out checks every three months or so and the service is available to all staff, not just company car drivers."
