Trucks with light touch January 1st 2008 When Glasgow-based specialist
foam manufacturer Caledonian
Industries' forklift contract came up
for renewal, the choice was simple
– and based entirely on trust.
"We knew exactly where to go
for impartial, expert advice," says
Caledonian MD Alan Thornton.
"We've worked with Douglas
Gillespie Plant for nearly 40 years
and I can always rely on them to
identify the trucks that will best
meet our particular needs."
Caledonian's engineering manager
David Thompson explains: "Our
products are lightweight, and the
operating environment is benign,
so you'd think any forklift would
find this a doddle. But we work
long shifts, indoors, and our
products need to be handled with
kid gloves." Having assessed the
site and the truck's duties, DGP
recommended a new Mitsubishi
FB16NT threewheel electric
counterbalance forklift. More articles from Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks UK: |
