Slip resistant matting offers protection

Floorline matting form Plastic Extruders is now travelling across Scandanvia in a fleet of breakdown and rescue vehicles.

Bro Bargningsbyggen, European manufacturer of rescue vehicles and tow trucks, needed to find a suitable material which could be used to line out the vehicles, protect equipment stored in the side compartments and prevent slipping accidents.

Plastex Swedish distributor, Gorvak, suggested the slip resistant matting Floorline, and it has now been adopted as part of the standard specification by the vehicle manufacturers.

Floorline has an open grid construction which means that water is dissipitated and the surface is dry. This is particularly important during wet weather and the severe Scandinavian winters.

Another advantage is that the hollow tube construction will cushion and reduce damage to equipment and the vehicles themselves.
