Cuts heat loss
September 1st 2007 Atco-Qualcast has invested in Hi
Speed Roller Doors from Union
Industries to help cut down heat
loss at its Suffolk production facility.
The company has installed nine
Bulldoors – seven are fitted to
external openings and two are
fitted internally to segregate areas
inside the factory.
The doors are activated to open
automatically at speeds of
1.7m/sec using a combination of 8-
channel radio control or radar
motion sensors.
Made as part of the Matadoor
range, Bulldoors feature a 'Crashout'
facility, which ensures the door
remains operable if high by a
