Warehouse is no plain Jane

Success in the high street has necessitated an expansion in warehousing and distribution services for Jane Norman. Small storage and distribution warehouses in North London have been consolidated into a larger, more modern facility in Coventry.

With a careful layout that incorporates a number of different products from the CI Logistics' portfolio including: pallet racking, longspan shelving for boxed goods and Hook-In garment racking, suitable storage, appropriate for each type of product was obtained.

Tectrac, an overhead monorail trolley system was used to transport garments to the collation and despatch area.

By using static, low level benching and lineshaft roller conveyors in combination with transfer units and powered roller bends, shipping boxes, once filled can be moved quickly to a shrinkwrap system which ensures tamper-proof security sealing.
