Filling line role March 1st 2008 Astec Conveyors has provided
Ronseal with filling line equipment
to feed a robotic palletising station.
The equipment caters for
handling pallet loads, empty and
full plastic containers, in sizes from
2.5L at speeds of 70/min to 12L at
14/min. Simply adjusted guide rails
on container conveyors provide
flexibility. Empty containers on an
upper floor come into the system
from the discharge of a robot depalletiser,
or a V80 pail destacker,
feeding in single file on modular
belt conveyors to a lowerator. With
a drop of 3700mm, the side grip
lowerator can be easily adjusted to
suit individual containers.
Containers are lowered to the
floor below and transported on
modular belt conveyors to labelling,
filling and lidding machinery. Full
containers move via a modular
side-flexing belt to the infeed to the
robotic palletiser for collation. More articles from Astec Conveyors Limited: |
