Bread rolls on March 1st 2008 An end-of-line conveying system
from Conveyor Systems is used
for the packaging of various sized
bags of bread rolls into cartons
and plastic supermarket trays.
These are fed from ground floor
level. A case erector makes up
boxes of various sizes, while plastic
trays are individually dispensed
from stacks, feeding up two
continuous vertical spiral elevators
to packing lines on a mezzanine.
Once in cases or trays, product
moves along powered roller
conveyors via conveyor belts to the
ground floor. Boxes stay on the
system through case sealers; trays
are automatically identified and
diverted from either side for hand
palletising or loading into dollies. More articles from Conveyor Systems Limited: |
