Softening a hard water problem July 1st 2008 Encouraged by both the quantity
and quality of visitors to two
previous Energy Events, Tapworks
reserved a stand for 2008
immediately after the last show
ended.
Typical of the type of enquiry it
received was that from a specifier
for a hotel project in Bristol, a hard
water area. The problem was
limescale in bathrooms, where it
can be seen, and in heating
systems, where it cannot.
With the installation of a
Tapworks' North Star commercial
water softener, the Mercure
Holland House Hotel & Spa has
banished the problems associated
with hard water.
The softener has a capacity to
soften 52 600L of water a day and
a peak flow rate of 16.5L/sec,
plenty to cope with the
requirements of a 275 bedroom
hotel.
