Mobile dewatering module
July 1st 2007 A new mobile dewatering module,
featuring the UCD205 decanter
centrifuge is now available from
Westfalia Separator.
The new test unit is mounted in
a 20" mobile container, available
for tests and trials on a range of
industrial and municipal sludges. It
is a continuously operating
horizontal scroll type centrifuge
and has been developed
specifically for use in industrial
and small-scale municipal waste
water treatment plants.
The machine is said to be cost
effective, with a minimum space
requirement and simple
maintenance needs. The drive
concept ensures optimum
differential speeds, which can be
regulated in such a way that
maximum dry substance values are
achieved. All parts that come in
contact with the product are made
of stainless CrNiMo steel and the
machine is finished with a twocomponent
