WEEE website
January 1st 2008

Mercury Recycling has created a new website to provide advice and information on all aspects of the WEEE Regulations.

The Directive was fully implemented in July 2007 and makes business users, manufacturers and retailers of electrical and electronics equipment responsible for making sure their goods do not end up in landfill or incineration, where the toxic chemicals, metals and associated solders, glues and plastics can cause environmental and health problems.

Mercury's service enables users to dispose of all WEEE regardless of shape or size. This is then recycled in accordance with current legislation.
