Tasty utilities package

MCL Energy has been awarded another long-term boiler and utilities maintenance services contract for Saxon Valley Foods at its Bedfordshire manufacturing facility.

As part of the company's energy efficiency initiatives the steam boilers are having variable speed drives (VSDs) fitted to reduce electrical consumption and cost.

The service provided by MCL Energy includes the daily operation of the associated plant and equipment, 24 hour callout response, and all service, replacement and steam distribution testing. The capital works for the plant and system upgrades are being financed by MCL Energy over the term of the contract.
