Out of limit reporting for lighting May 1st 2006 Metering, data logging and wireless telemetry facilities have been added to the Opt-i-Mizer lighting control system from Energy Optimizers.
The main benefit of the system is that it allows managers, both on and off site, to review operating consumption, times of use and levels of energy savings achieved. Remote location metering is supported using wireless telemetry while the monitoring and reporting features are provided using a GPRS communication link to web-based servers. Another benefit of the system is the alarm messaging service via SMS, which is activated when either the lighting remains on outside normal operating hours or is outside normal levels of power consumption, indicating the possibly of a fault.
The Opt-i-Mizer light energy saving units, with dimming ranges from 0%-25%; vary in capacity from load demands of 30A per phase to over 150 Amps per phase.
Optional photocell and PIR sensor devices can be added.
