Benefiting multi-tenant metering applications, an eight channel version of Enercom's Multilog system for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) has been launched. Known as the Multilog G2 it provides a means of transmitting meter readings and energy consumption over the rising busbar copper and other mains cables existing in an installation back to a central monitoring and billing PC, either on-or off-site.

This method uses the Lonworks PLT-22 powerline Transceiver technology developed and widely used in the US, with increasing commercial and industrial use across Europe for data communication.
