Monitor costs September 1st 2007 A new flow computer from Spirax
Sarco provides accurate
monitoring of saturated or
superheated steam consumption,
providing a simple and versatile
way to help monitor energy costs.
The M800 takes a 4-20mA
signal from a range of pipeline
transmitters and converts it into
flowrate, total flow, pressure and
temperature readings. Users can
choose whether to display flow
calculations in terms of mass of
steam or energy flows. Metric and
imperial units are offered. A 4-20mA
output enables re-transmission of
data to a chart recorder or BMS.
The display can be set to show
trends in graphical form.
The M800 works with the
company's Gilflo, ILVA and DIVA
variable area flowmeters, as well as
other linear devices More articles from Spirax Sarco Ltd: |
