Corona Energy is set to introduce an automated meter reading (AMR) service, available to all industrial and commercial gas users.

Corona energy will collect metering data remotely via AMR using digital communications and convert that data into valuable energy information, which is then made available to customers via a secure website. This internet-based information system will enable energy managers to monitor usage and identify areas of cost saving.

Data will be gathered at halfhour intervals and, based on this, graphical representations of energy usage will present an accurate picture of on-site activity. Also, problems will be highlighted in real time, preventing a small incident from turning into a costly problem.
