Halogen range saves energy, costs and materials

OSRAM has launched a new range of Halogen Energy Savers.

The lamps are said to be the first to come in both mains and low voltage that consume up to 30% less energy than standard halogen and ordinary incandescent light bulbs. OSRAM Halogen Energy Savers are also designed to last twice as long as standard incandescent lamps and are fully dimmable meaning further significant savings on energy, costs and materials.

With a greater emphasis now placed on an organisation's contribution to energy wastage and carbon emissions, building services managers are increasingly looking at ways of reducing a company's environmental impact and therefore need an easy to install quick solution to reduce energy consumption.

OSRAM says it can provide energy saving lighting solutions to many applications with its full range of compact fluorescent bulbs, control gear and now Halogen Energy savers.
