Evaporative cooling system May 1st 2007 EcoCooling evaporative cooling is an alternative to refrigeration based air conditioning and is used as part of a balanced ventilation system to cool buildings.
A typical EcoCooler, rated at 30kW, is said to reduce electricity costs by over £2000 and save 10,000kg of carbon over a year compared to an equivalent refrigeration based system. EcoCoolers can qualify for Carbon Trust Interest-Free loans because they consume less electricity and have a smaller carbon impact than equivalent air conditioning systems. They offer a low energy, low capital operating cost alternative to traditional systems. More articles from EcoCooling (UK) Ltd: |
