Power supply
September 1st 2007

Walter GB has expanded its insert range for tuning steel with the launch of positive geometry Tiger.tec Steel grades WPP 10, 20, 30 as well as a free 58page booklet that details the range.

The new inserts ensure highlyaccurate finishing from a 0.1mm depth of cut at 0.04mm per rev feed, up to 15mm depths at 1.7mm per rev, on the 32mm diameter RCMX insert styles. Insert grade WPP 20 is designed for aggressive roughing, and applications where medium interruptions and unstable set-ups are likely. WPP 30 caters for interrupted roughing cuts and where surface speeds are difficult to attain due to machine limitations or small diameter applications. Haven Power specialises in the supply of electricity to business customers, particularly SMEs and large business users which have some flexibility in their use.

Providing an alternative to large, multinational power suppliers, the company offers smaller businesses a simple, accurate, predictable and cost-effective electricity supply.

As a member of the Carron Energy Group, Haven combines extensive buying power with the flexibility to be responsive to individual customers. It says it understands the need for competitive fixed price contracts with predictable costs and bills based on actual meter reads. Customers can be sure they are paying for what they use, with the option of spreading the costs equally over the year, smoothing out fluctuations in demand.
