Low noise compressor
May 1st 2005 A new addition to Atlas Copco’s family of VSD compressors is the GA11VSD series, 11kW machines give reduced energy costs and precise pressure control for the smaller compressed air user.
The compressors, producing 10 to 13bar, 50Hz performance, offer a flow range from 7 to 27L/s and operate at reduced system pressures to achieve lower power consumption, reduce leaks and provide a stable process air supply.
The company says that with air treatment equipment built into the compressor package, further savings are possible from reduced installation costs and the elimination of pipework leaks and pressure drops.
A sound level of 69dB(A) enables the compressor to be installed at the point of use, and units are supplied in a choice of floor mounted, receiver mounted and skid-mounted configurations. More articles from Atlas Copco Compressors Ltd: |
