was faced with an increase in
production, rising energy costs, and
a steam generator that could not
cope with large surges of steam
demand, its problems were solved
by the installation of a Byworth
Yorkshireman2 2000kg/h steam
boiler.
The boiler incorporates special
X-ID firetubes. The tubing, with
internal helical ribbing, increases
heat transfer in the tube passes by
more than 80%, typically giving 2%
increased overall boiler efficiency
and reducing emissions. Fuel use
has been reduced and the boiler's
reliability is allowing the company
